Terms of Service & Fee Agreement

Welcome to IdeaVault. By creating an account you agree to these terms.IdeaVault is a platform that helps people share ideas confidentially and get introduced to potential investors. We are a matchmaking service — not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, law firm, or crowdfunding portal.

1. What we do and don't do

We facilitate introductions between creators and investors. We do not provide legal, tax, financial, or investment advice, and we do not guarantee funding, interest, or any particular outcome.

2. Success fee

Creating an account and submitting ideas is free. IdeaVault charges a success fee of 5% (or as otherwise agreed in writing) that applies only if an investor introduced through the platform selects an idea for funding, an interview, or further consideration and a funding arrangement results. The specific fee for any match is shown to the parties before it applies.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the ideas and materials you submit. You grant IdeaVault a limited license to display your teaser to investors and your full submission to investors who have accepted the applicable NDA.

4. No IP guarantee

IdeaVault provides confidentiality controls and a timestamped record of your submission. This is not a substitute for legal intellectual-property protection such as a patent, trademark, or copyright registration.

5. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
